You are welcome to request a particular psychologist, alternatively we are happy to help determine who is most suitable and available, according to your needs. All our psychologists operate predominantly from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and ACT frameworks which results in a strong emphasis on tailored, practical strategies to assist our clients to achieve their goals and optimal wellbeing. Our psychologists are in Ballarat, Victoria.

Merideth Haines – Senior Psychologist & Director

Accredited EMDRAA EMDR Practitioner.

Special interests include anxiety, depression, life adjustment, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapy, pregnancy, postpartum depression and anxiety, adjustment to parenthood, parentin0g strategies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and is skilled in delivering group programs including Tuning Into Kids and Triple P Parenting.

Bethany Georghiou – Psychologist

Special interests include high prevalence disorders such as anxiety and depression, as well as complex mental health issues including psychosis, personality disorders and bipolar disorder. Trained in individual, group and community mental health interventions, utilising evidence-based CBT and mindfulness approaches.

Rachael Tracey – Mental Health Occupational Therapist

As an OT, Rachael uses a “bottom up” approach to develop adaptive coping strategies with her clients with the aim of overcoming their mental health and functional difficulties by enhancing their independence through analysis of occupation and everyday activities. This has included working with youth and adults with Mood disorders, Anxiety, Psychosis, Substance use, Personality Disorders and Eating Disorders.

Kyle Wilson – Provisional Psychologist

Special interests include adult, child and adolescent wellbeing, anxiety, stress management, trauma, people with disability, and grief. Utilising evidence-based CBT and mindfulness approaches.

Alistair Freeman – Provisional Psychologist

Special interests include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress management, mindfulness, and men’s holistic wellbeing.

Angelina Perovic – Social Worker

Angelina is an experienced and dedicated social worker who has specialised and received an Accreditation in Mental Health through the AASW.  She uses a warm, empathetic and holistic approach when working with her clients to collaboratively assist them in achieving their mental health related goals.  Angelina is trained and experienced in providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy.  When employing these skills, she values person centred approaches and taking time to understand the complex lives and difficulties her clients experience.  Through her community work she has gained experience working with Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma that has occurred within complex backgrounds and social situations.

Sarah Rowe – Provisional Psychologist

Sarah is a warm and supportive Provisional Psychologist who has experience working with a range of clients in various settings and from diverse backgrounds.  She takes an empathetic and non judgemental approach in assisting her clients meet their goals.  Her special interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, parental challenges,  LGBTQIA+ support and general wellbeing. Sarah offers personalised therapy using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion.
