Adam Mitchell
Provisional Psychologist
Adam is a warm and collaborative Provisional Psychologist who takes a person-centred and evidence-based approach to therapy. He is focused on building a strong therapeutic relationship and supporting individuals to move toward meaningful, goal-directed change.
Adam uses evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Where appropriate, he takes a holistic approach and has experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams, including NDIS supports and ASD/ADHD assessment.
He has a strong interest in working with veterans, police, and other first responders, as well as supporting neurodivergent individuals. With a background in the military and risk assessment, he brings an understanding of high-pressure environments and the challenges they present.
