Bethany Georghiou
Psychologist
Registered as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Bethany is dedicated to supporting adults and adolescents with a variety of common mental health challenges. She works with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders (such as generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorder), depressive disorders, trauma-related disorders (including PTSD), obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and adjustment difficulties. Bethany also has a special interest in working with individuals facing more complex mental health diagnoses, including personality disorders and psychotic spectrum disorders (such as schizophrenia and delusional disorder).
She is trained in individual, group, and community-based interventions, and draws on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy.
Bethany brings a gentle and empathetic approach to her work, fostering a safe and supportive space where clients feel respected, heard, and encouraged as they work toward their mental health goals.
